This hike is over by Wells, NV close to other hikes I have done like Greys Peak and Hole in the Mountain. The hike is only about 7 miles but it is a pretty moderate hike with all the ups and downs. It was fun, although the Humboldt area there is not an off-trail area (I had considered going off-trail a few times but that area is brutal). Fortunately this trail was actually pretty good all the way. The lake is nothing to write home about.
