Norton Peak is 10,336 feet high. I did a loop close to the summit last year (or a few years ago) which goes very close to the summit but I had hiked so much during that day that I did not want to go the extra mile round trip to get there. It was probably a good idea since the summit from the saddle where the main trail is was more difficult than I thought. Going along that ridge line was well marked with a trail that mainly ran along the left side. On the way down, I did make it a semi-loop by going around and down a different valley before finishing up at the car.
