This peak is in the Sawtooths outside Stanley. The peak itself isn't much to look at. It's 9,151 feet high. The views are great though, so that is really the only reason to go up there, unless you just really want to. You can get there a few different ways. I went from Stanley Lake. The mileage from there to the top and back was around 16.5 miles. You can take a few stops along the way and see a few falls as well, Lady Face and Bridal Veil Falls I believe they are named. I'll probably go back and see those some day just to get a few miles in over there in that area. Some sites I've seen say that Observation Peak the only Sawtooth peak with a trail to the top, so I guess that's a good reason to do it also.
