I have done Lucky (Shaw) before but from a different trail further to the East. The actual hike is pretty similar to the one before (and honestly all these Boise foothill hike are basically the same), mostly just no trees, no shade, and steep trails. Add to that the fact that it was like 97 degrees, I had almost no water, and I had hiked the day before made for a rough trip. It also ended up being longer than I had thought. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures on the way up and none on the way down as I was too tired, hot, and thirsty. I heard the next day that it caught fire as well that night, I didn't do it. Shaw is 5,907 feet high.
