Box canyon is a little south of Malad Gorge. I hiked both the same day since they are both fairly short and close together. This one was about 4 miles. You have to walk a ways from the parking lot to get to the canyon. From there you go a little further and then can descend into the canyon and walk in a mile or so. Pretty easy hike and nice place. Clear water too. I'll probably do some of the shorter but close to home walks the next few months. I might as well know a little about the place I live.
