Alpine Peak

Alpine Peak is just to the West of Stanley, Id. Probably aren't a lot of people that go up it. There are lots of people that go to Sawtooth Lake though. We (my brother and I) past quite a few people, and we went on a Friday. Sawtooth Lake is just below Alpine Peak. We started hiking around 8am when it was pretty foggy. There was still some lower fog when we made it to the top, but seemed to burn off completely on the way down. From Sawtooth you can't really see the top of Alpine Peak, but you can see it from Alpine Lake a little further down the trail. Most of the pictures you will see of Alpine Peak are taken from Alpine Lake. Getting up it wasn't too crazy. Alpine Peak is around 9.871 feet high.
