Dierkes Lake is just East of Twin Falls (the town) by Shoshone Falls (the falls). It's a nice little lake for fishing, non-motor boating, and has a small section for swimming. There is also a nice trail around the lake and to the west side where you can also do some climbing which I hadn't been aware of before. Depending on how you go around and where you start, it can be anywhere from 2.5 to 5 miles. Pretty easy to do and a nice walk. I figured I should do some walks close to home and see what's really around my home town.
