While still on vacation around the Perris,Ca area, I decided to do a few small local hikes with the wife. I managed 3 different ones, Mt. Heritage (Shown in Google Earth as Double Butte), 3 peaks loop trail (as titled from AllTrails), and Terri Peak North. All these were small hikes of about 3-5 miles. We hiked them just after sunrise before it got too hot outside. All of the small mountains (large hills is probably more accurate) looked about the same. Good local stuff I guess, no real reason why anybody would come from anywhere else to do them. Trash around the trails and half of the rocks were tagged, along with smog blocking the view most days. Not terribly appealing, but better than sitting around the house for 2 weeks.
